THE ROAD TO STARRCADE HEATS UP IN BAKERSFIELD ON DECEMBER 12TH!

The road to Starrcade XIX keeps rolling along as WCW Nitro heads into the Centennial Garden in Bakersfield, California! After all the wild twists and turns last week in Alabama, things are getting tense as the countdown to December 30th ticks away. Ric Flair is running the show with absolute authority as the new President, but the champions of The Foundation are doing whatever it takes to stack the deck in their favor.

In the main event, Booker T goes one-on-one with D’Lo Brown in a huge match that was demanded directly by WCW World Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page! DDP wants nothing more than to see his Starrcade challenger get taken out before they even make it to Greensboro, setting up a massive test for Booker tonight. We are also going to see a highly anticipated debut as the enigmatic Amos Hersch finally makes his first-ever appearance on WCW Nitro.

Over in the tag team division, things are bound to get crazy as the new fan-favorite Shark Squad gets back in the ring to face the Misfits In Action. With their big Starrcade match already locked in, you can bet the Portraits of Poise will be lurking somewhere nearby to keep an eye on the action. The WCW women's division just got a major dose of attitude. Kitti Carter has officially signed with World Championship Wrestling, making her debut on WCW Nitro in Bakersfield, California. After making a massive splash in sports entertainment over the last few years, the former championship-winning star has stepped into a WCW ring for the first time.

With the dominant WCW Women's Champion Jazz constantly pestering and disrespecting Kitti's husband, Jerry "The King" Lawler at the commentary table, Kitti debut to stand up for The King. With the battle lines drawn between power and beauty, the battle for female supremacy in WCW seems inevitable between Jazz and Kitti!

The highway to Starrcade XIX reaches its absolute end as WCW Nitro rolls into the Convocation Center at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Michigan! With the biggest night of the year just four days away, WCW World Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page has laid down a dangerous challenge for Booker T to meet him face-to-face in the ring. With WCW President Ric Flair’s strict "no physical contact" mandate still in effect, these two bitter rivals will stand nose-to-nose with everything to lose. Speaking of the boss, the "Nature Boy" has promised to address United States Champion Rob Van Dam and Lance Storm tonight to finally settle the chaos following last week’s wild no-contest.
