Kaz Hayashi is a Japanese standout known for bringing a "puroresu" technical edge to the cruiserweight division. After years of competing as a top-tier singles and tag team specialist, he has solidified his reputation as one of the most reliable and agile performers on the roster.

Since the May 2001 relaunch, Hayashi has continued his partnership with Yun Yang in the Jung Dragons. To gain an edge in the division, the duo recently joined forces with Chavo Guerrero Jr. to form Los Dragones. This new alliance combines the Dragons' high-flying speed with Guerrero’s veteran ruthlessness as they hunt for tag team and cruiserweight gold.
