Biography

Chris Kanyon remains the self-proclaimed "Innovator of Offense," a former WCW World Tag Team Champion whose technical repertoire is as complex as his shifting loyalties. From his bizarre beginnings as Mortis to his championship success in the Jersey Triad, Kanyon has always prioritized his own spotlight, often at the expense of the rulebook.

Since the May 2001 relaunch, Kanyon has positioned himself as a self-appointed gatekeeper of WCW tradition. He engaged in a bitter, entitlement-driven feud with Shane McMahon, eventually securing a victory over the young executive in a chaotic Street Fight. Refusing to accept the new era of leadership, Kanyon has since joined forces with Diamond Dallas Page in The Foundation. Together, they have launched an aggressive campaign against McMahon’s vision for the company, using any means necessary to maintain their perceived status at the top of the mountain.
