Dick the Bruiser

"World's Most Dangerous Wrestler"

Biography

Known as "The World’s Most Dangerous Wrestler," Dick the Bruiser was a legitimate star whose rugged presence helped define the industry for decades. While he built his legend as a multi-time champion in the AWA and as the owner of the WWA, his connection to WCW remained significant during its transition into a national powerhouse.

In 1990, he played a pivotal role in one of the company's most mysterious storylines by serving as the special guest referee for the Starrcade main event between Sting and the Black Scorpion. His status as a foundational pillar of the sport was officially honored in 1994 with a posthumous induction into the WCW Hall of Fame at Slamboree.
