A third-generation standout from the legendary Guerrero family, Chavo Guerrero Jr. is a cornerstone of WCW’s cruiserweight division. After early years defined by a volatile partnership with his uncle Eddie and a stint in the military-themed Misfits In Action, Chavo has recently focused on restoring his family legacy.
In June 2001, Chavo took the ultimate risk at The Great American Bash, putting his hair on the line for a shot at the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship. With the unexpected assistance of the Jung Dragons, Chavo defeated Shane Helms to capture his third cruiserweight title. Following the victory, Chavo aligned himself with the Dragons to form "Los Dragones," a dominant new faction determined to control the division with Chavo at the helm.
