Booker T is a cornerstone of WCW history, rising from a record-setting ten-time World Tag Team Champion alongside his brother Stevie Ray in Harlem Heat to becoming a powerhouse singles competitor. Throughout the late 90s, he established himself as an elite athlete by capturing the Television and United States Championships before reaching the top of the mountain to become the World Heavyweight Champion in 2000.
He entered the 2001 relaunch as the reigning champion, successfully defending the gold in the main event of The Big Bang against Buff Bagwell. Though his reign ended at The Great American Bash at the hands of Lance Storm, Booker remains among the most popular and successful WCW wrestlers as he campaigns to reclaim his spot at the summit.
