Biography

Akio is a dangerous cruiserweight competitor driven by a cynical new perspective. Originally gaining fame as one-third of the high-flying Jung Dragons, he survived betrayal by Jamie-San, staying true to his "best friend" Kaz Hayashi. Together, the duo peventually formed Los Dragones with Chavo Guerrero Jr., an alliance that also ended in a bitter Chavo betrayal.

After a grueling recovery from an injury sustained in a ladder match, Yang has returned to WCW with a fresh perspective. Shedding his former identity to become Akio, he has reinvented himself to move past his naive beginnings and the exploitation of others. Now focused on becoming a true standout in the cruiserweight division, Akio is more determined than ever to climb the ranks alongside his longtime friend and loyal partner, Kaz Hayashi.
